Peaches and Wheat! ...oh, and Cream of course!

So, if you've ever wondered how to get kids to eat wheat, THIS is IT! Mmmm, I think I'll go make some right now!

Well, actually it's the more refined "farina' or 'semolina' form of wheat (aka "Cream of Wheat') but it still qualifies as a "food storage" item!. And, of course, I still make it with milk, not water. We are working our way up to cracked wheat s l o w l y ...

Hi... I took an extended blogging break, life just got to be too much, calling to much, everything too much. It has been fun to catch up on your lives in NC. Are you surviving being alone all day? I always find the quiet sometimes too quiet.
The picture looks delicious! How is school going for all? Haylie and I are planning to visit NC the first week of November.
